Projects

All of my artwork is printed by pigment and printing on cotton paper
size is from 200cm to 100cm(foom 78.7inch to 39.3inch)

in the southernmost island of JEJU, South Korea.
I have dedicated years to capturing the common yet extraordinary landscapes of WATER,WIND,STONE.and FOREST.
In an age where billions of images are created daily worldwide, what truely defines photographic art ?
The notion of photography as a medium may be questioned in this digital era, where virtually everyone with a smartphone become a photographer, endlessly generating creative imagery.
For over two decades, I have worked exclucively with black and white film, employing traditional analog methods.
While this choice offers a unique texture and depth, it may also stem from a reluctance to embrace the almost magical touch of digital manipulation.
The reason behind focusing solely on black and white photography lies in this its ability to reveal the essence, free from the distractions and errors inherent in color.
